The University Women’s Club of North York
The University Women’s Club of North York was founded in 1951. We have over 200 members who represent a wide variety of interests, disciplines, and professional achievements.
Our club is a member of the Canadian Federation of University Women. Through CFUW our club is linked to Graduate Women International, world-wide network of women who bring different perspectives to concerns similar to ours.
We have a general meeting once a month at St. Bonaventure Parish Centre, Leslie And Lawrence. The club has some 30 interest groups to keep you busy and interested through the month. Most meet in member’s homes. It is no longer necessary to have a university degree, but only to agree to support the betterment and education of women and girls around the world. All meetings are at 7:30 pm and guests are always welcome.
Address: 1300 Leslie Street (just south of Edwards Gardens), Toronto ON, M3C 2K9

Meetings are held at the Don Mills Library, 888 Lawrence Ave. E. (at the Donway w.), usually on the second and fourth Thursday of the month, from September to April.
